Well I added texture and worked a little more value into this piece. But before i start color do you guys have any suggestions? Keep in mind that there won't be much contrst on the Nazi plane when i add a lighter value explosion later.

Plane Exploration

I took some side views of the planes in my story and manipulated them in photshop by cutting and pasting various parts of the plane together then transforming and painting them. The result is more clear and alot more free in terms of exploration, as compared to doing pen sketches.

P-40

This P-40 has a few perspective problems, but it gets the idea of a exagerrated fighter plane across. Not beat up enough for the story.

I chose two heads and pushed them toward a more realistic concept. Yeah,... not liken the top row.

The Chase

This is a piece that I've been working on for a personal project. The three main ideas in this piece I want to get across are as follows: first read-forground plane/ second read- plane exploding over it/ third read epic cathedral.
